Pam is an Associate Professor with The Ohio State University and serves as the State Master Gardener Volunteer Program Director.  She is also a Horticulture Educator and Director for OSU Extension in Clark County.  She has a BS in Landscape Horticulture and a MS in Human and Community Resource Development from The Ohio State University.  Her responsibilities include providing leadership for the OSUE Master Gardener Volunteer program consisting of more than 3,500 volunteers and conducting consumer and comme

The 2016 EMG survey conservatively estimates there are 88,951 Extension Master Gardener volunteers throughout the United States and Washington, D.C, annually contributing 5,718,738 hours educating the public, providing youth programming, and facilitating produce donated to local food banks. While this is only the beginning of the value EMGs provided in their communities this year, these efforts are estimated to have contributed 138 million dollars in value to the general public. 40 states participated in …
