Gardening for All Award
Objective: The EMGNC Gardening for All Award recognizes an EMG coordinator who has contributed significantly over a sustained period to increasing access to and a sense of belonging in EMG programming through their leadership, volunteers, and clientele.
Criteria for the narrative (40 points total, 10 per criteria):
- Identifies need to increase access and belonging in the EMG program.
- Demonstrates an ongoing commitment with dedicated resources and measurable outcomes.
- Increased access to the program by clientele with a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Models innovative and progressive practices that support programmatic access and belonging.
- Maintains and advocates for policies/practices that support EMG program access and belonging at local, state, and national levels.
